LaVigne Inc wins SHARP honor

WORCESTER, MA - LaVigne Inc, of 10 Coppage Drive, an independent commercial printing company, was recently honored for its long-term membership in the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Administered by the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety on-site consultation program, SHARP exempts companies from OSHA-programmed inspections. LaVigne became a SHARP member in 1988 - one of only 700 companies nationwide.

Only companies that pass rigorous inspections and show dedication to providing a safe and healthy workplace receive SHARP status, according to OSHA and the state's Division of Occupational Safety.
